Help She Can’t Swim will be playing The Lexington on 20th and 21st April 2023.

Help She Can’t Swim have announced they will be reuniting in 2023 for their first live show since 2007. The south coast indie-punk 5 piece will play The Lexington in London on April 20th 2023 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the bands formation and pay tribute to the band’s drummer Lewis Baker who sadly passed away in 2021. Proceeds from the show will be donated to the St Joseph’s Hospice in London. Tickets go on sale Friday 7th October at 10am.

Formed in 2003, HSCS released two albums ; “Fashionista Super Dance Troupe” (2004) and “The Death of Nightlife” (2007) as well as a host of EPs and 7”s, before officially calling it quits in 2008. Their mix of hyperactive indie pop, post-punk noise, confrontational boy-girl vocals and lo-fi keyboards set them apart from the glut of lad rock filling the indie scene at the time. Known for energised and chaotic live shows, HSCS shared stages with the likes of The Cribs, The Blood Brothers, Sleater Kinney and Test Icicles to name a few.
