Save the date! We’ve teamed up with Adapt
and Music Declares Emergency
to launch the first edition of the Climate Music Blowout on 17th October. Ahead of COP26 in the UK this year, we have organised a day of climate action, to share knowledge, tools and help the music industry rebuild from COVID-19 with climate at the forefront.
The Live Show
will be featuring a unique line-up of bespoke performances by Black Country, New Road
(improv with friends), Porridge Radio
(covers set), Skinny Pelembe
(solo), Steam Down
and a raft of special guests. A limited amount of Early-bird tickets are now on sale. 50p on every ticket goes to Ecolibrium
to offset audience travel, with 100% of donations and any profit given to climate charities ClientEarth
and The Ella Roberta Family Foundation
In the afternoon, The Conference will see key music industry figures and artists discuss how the music industry, and the music community, can continue to play a key role in responding to the climate emergency. There is a very limited amount of tickets available to the general public.
Live music has gone through a tumultuous couple of years, but it has also been a time for all to reflect on how they choose to return. We are big admirers of Adapt and Music Declares Emergency and could not be more thrilled to launch the Climate Music Blowout together, with the hope that this first edition will be a step forward on a collective journey for people with music at heart – be it those working in the industry, musicians or fans – to learn and take action, whilst still celebrating live music.
