Building on the layering of worlds and environments that define their second album, caroline 2, the band present a special interdisciplinary performance for the Barbican stage. The piece brings together caroline’s signature live performance with additional cast and innovative staging, expanding the concepts that underpin their sonic universe into three-dimensional space. The band will perform the whole of caroline 2, the songs renewed for the stage in a one-off show that is both the culmination of the touring of their second album, and a hint of things to come.

caroline 2, was released in May 2025 to incredible acclaim, achieving a Pitchfork Best New Music, The Quietus and Stereogum Album of the Week, and rave reviews from NME, DIY, Line of Best Fit, Clash and beyond. The album explores juxtapositions of poppy autotuned melody, arrhythmic experiments and heartfelt harmonies, with lead single ‘Tell me I never knew that’ featuring Caroline Polachek. The album has introduced the band to a new fanbase, going far beyond the cult following of their earthier, repetition-laden 2022 debut caroline, selling out shows across the UK, US, Europe, Japan and China.
